<h1>Electrical Assembler / Wiring Technician</h1> <p>Berkshire<br /> &pound;15.00 &ndash; &pound;18.00 per hour + Regular Overtime<br /> Full-Time | Permanent</p> <h2>Hands-On Electrical Assembly Role with Full Training and Long-Term Career Progression</h2> <p>We are recruiting for Electrical Assemblers / Wiring Technicians to join a growing specialist engineering and manufacturing business based in Colnbrook.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electrical, assembly, manufacturing or workshop experience who are looking to develop specialist technical skills within a stable, long-term role.</p> <p>Working within a professional workshop environment, you will be involved in the assembly and wiring of bespoke electrical equipment used across a range of large-scale commercial projects throughout the UK and internationally.</p> <p>Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for both experienced electrical assemblers and candidates looking to build a career within the electrical manufacturing industry.</p> <p>Immediate interviews available.</p> <hr /> <h1>The Role</h1> <p>As an Electrical Assembler / Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring specialist electrical equipment while maintaining high quality and safety standards.</p> <p>You will work alongside experienced technicians and receive hands-on training and support as you develop your skills.</p> <h3>Duties Will Include:</h3> <ul> <li>Electrical wiring and assembly of bespoke distribution units</li> <li>Cutting, stripping and preparing cables</li> <li>Crimping sockets, connectors and cables</li> <li>Using hand and power tools daily</li> <li>Reading and following wiring instructions and technical drawings</li> <li>Supporting quality control and manufacturing standards</li> <li>Following Health &amp; Safety procedures at all times</li> <li>Maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy</li> </ul> <hr /> <h1>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h1> <h3>Essential:</h3> <ul> <li>Basic understanding of electrics or electrical principles</li> <li>Good practical and hands-on skills</li> <li>Strong attention to detail</li> <li>Ability to work within a busy workshop environment</li> <li>Good communication and teamwork skills</li> <li>Excellent timekeeping and reliability</li> <li>Ability to work independently using initiative</li> </ul> <h3>Desirable:</h3> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a Wireman, Electrical Assembler, Panel Wireman, Electrical Fitter or Electrician&rsquo;s Mate</li> <li>Experience using hand or power tools</li> <li>Ability to read technical or AutoCAD drawings</li> <li>Manufacturing or workshop experience</li> </ul> <hr /> <h1>What&rsquo;s on Offer</h1> <ul> <li>&pound;15.00 &ndash; &pound;18.00 per hour</li> <li>Regular overtime opportunities</li> <li>Full training provided</li> <li>Long-term career progression</li> <li>Stable permanent position</li> <li>Supportive and skilled workshop team</li> <li>Opportunity to develop specialist electrical skills</li> <li>Modern workshop environment</li> </ul> <hr /> <h1>Working Hours</h1> <p>Monday &ndash; Thursday: 8:30am &ndash; 5:00pm<br /> Friday: 7:45am &ndash; 4:00pm</p> <p>Overtime is regularly available for those looking to increase earnings.</p>
