As Director of Finance and Corporate Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the Service, including all corporate support teams (People, Finance and Corporate & Information Governance), to deliver our strategic objectives. This will include leading and managing strategic enabling programmes and projects, as well as ensuring appropriate governance, internal control and risk management processes are in place across the organisation.
Whether you’re a Finance Director looking to expand your remit across Corporate Services, a Deputy Director within a larger organisation looking to step up, or a proven Finance and Corporate Services Director, this pivotal remit provides the opportunity to make an impact across the organisation and beyond.
Key requirements include that you:
Are a strategically minded, pragmatic, forward thinking leader with proven senior leadership experience;
Are a fully qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA); and
Possess excellent knowledge of requirements of Managing Public Money, Spending Controls, and Accounting Officer responsibilities
