About the Role
English Teacher – Part/Full Time, Temporary – Secondary School (Chichester)
Pink Tile Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a wonderful secondary school in Chichester on a temporary basis, starting ASAP until the end of the academic year. This role is available as part-time or full-time, offering flexibility to suit your schedule. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring young people through English to become part of a supportive and welcoming school community.
This is a temporary position, paid on the MPS/UPS payscale.
What We’re Looking For
A passionate and motivated English Teacher who enjoys engaging students with English
QTS preferred
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Available for part-time or full-time hours
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A positive and proactive attitude towards contributing to the wider school community
A current DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
Role Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and inclusive English lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encourage curiosity and a love of reading, writing, and literature
Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students of varying abilities
Monitor student progress and support their development in English
Contribute positively to the English department and wider school activities
