About the Role
Proficient and practices multiple modalities within Radiology. Performs and/or assists with various types of radiologic procedures, following protocols established by the radiologists. Prepares, maintains and operates radiographic equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Follows appropriate radiation safety guidelines. Produces quality radiographs for interpretation by a radiologist. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.<br/><br/>Education<br/>High School Diploma or Equivalent Required<br/>Non Degree Program Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required<br/><br/>Experience<br/>3 years relevant radiologic experience Required<br/><br/>Licenses<br/>Reg Technologist (R) Required<br/>Basic Life Support Required
