<p>ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER / PROJECT ENGINEER</p> <p>West Midlands | UK Travel | Industrial Projects | Automation | Manufacturing</p> <p>Salary: Up to &pound;55,000 + Overtime + Travel + Clear Progression</p> <hr /> <h3>Step Into Project Engineering or Take Your Next Step Up</h3> <p>Are you an Electrical Engineer, Site Engineer or Commissioning Engineer looking to move into a Project Engineer role?</p> <p>Or already a Project Engineer looking for more varied, large-scale industrial projects?</p> <p>We&rsquo;re working with a growing engineering business delivering complex automation, manufacturing and industrial installation projects across the UK &mdash; and they&rsquo;re looking to add a Project Engineer to their team.</p> <hr /> <h3>Why This Role?</h3> <p>&bull; Genuine progression into Project Manager roles<br /> &bull; Large-scale industrial and automation projects across the UK<br /> &bull; Opportunity to move off the tools into full project delivery<br /> &bull; Strong pipeline of secured work &mdash; long-term stability<br /> &bull; Involvement across the full project lifecycle (not just one phase)</p> <hr /> <h3>The Role</h3> <p>As a Project Engineer, you&rsquo;ll support the delivery of electrical and industrial projects from design through to installation and commissioning.</p> <p>You&rsquo;ll work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.</p> <p>Based in the West Midlands with regular UK travel.</p> <hr /> <h3>What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing</h3> <p>&bull; Supporting delivery of electrical and industrial engineering projects<br /> &bull; Assisting with planning, coordination and scheduling<br /> &bull; Working with design, installation and commissioning teams<br /> &bull; Supporting procurement of materials and equipment<br /> &bull; Attending site during installation, testing and commissioning<br /> &bull; Ensuring compliance with RAMS and site safety procedures<br /> &bull; Monitoring progress, reporting updates and resolving issues<br /> &bull; Providing technical support to engineers and site teams</p> <hr /> <h3>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</h3> <p>Essential:<br /> &bull; Electrical or engineering background (industrial / manufacturing / automation)<br /> &bull; Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance or project environments<br /> &bull; Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics<br /> &bull; Strong organisation and communication skills<br /> &bull; Full UK Driving Licence<br /> &bull; Willingness to travel</p> <p>Desirable (NOT essential):<br /> &bull; Previous Project Engineer experience<br /> &bull; Background in automation, conveyors, FMCG or material handling<br /> &bull; HNC / HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering<br /> &bull; Experience working on industrial sites</p> <hr /> <h3>Suitable Backgrounds</h3> <p>Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Controls Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Electrical Site Engineer, Installation Engineer, Automation Engineer</p> <hr /> <h3>Keywords</h3> <p>Project Engineer jobs West Midlands, Electrical Project Engineer jobs UK, Controls Engineer jobs, Automation Engineer jobs, Industrial Project Engineer, Commissioning Engineer jobs, Electrical Engineer jobs manufacturing</p> <hr /> <p>Apply now for immediate interview or contact Darryl directly for a confidential discussion:<br /> <a href="mailto:darryl.fordham@rgs-global.com">darryl.fordham@rgs-global.com</a></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
