Your responsibilities will include: calculating the classification of hazardous substances according to the GHS/CLP Regulation using SAP EHS; maintaining and updating hazardous substance-related master data in the central IT system; independently creating safety-relevant documents such as safety data sheets for substances and mixtures for European branches; and providing solution-oriented support for internal and external customer inquiries regarding hazardous substance legislation.
  • Completed studies in chemistry or food chemistry, or alternatively, completed scientific training, e.g. as a chemical technical assistant or chemical laboratory assistant.
  • Prior professional experience in the assessment of hazardous substances in food products within an international company is desirable.
  • Proficient use of MS Office and ideally experience with the SAP EHS module
  • Excellent English skills and good German skills, both spoken and written.
  • High sense of responsibility and independent working style
  • Reliability, team spirit and excellent communication skills
