Medicare / Health Insurance Customer Service Representative Compensation
The pay for this position is $20 per hour.
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
A 401(k) with company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.
Medicare / Health Insurance Customer Service Representative Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
The required availability for this position is MondayâFriday, 8:00 AM â 5:00 PM, onsite.
Medicare / Health Insurance Customer Service Representative Responsibilities
Provide personalized service to members regarding enrollment, benefits, billing, claims, and authorizations
Record inquiries and complaints accurately in the tracking system
Meet or exceed departmental production and quality standards
Communicate professionally and empathetically over the phone
Learn and maintain knowledge of Medicare and health insurance industry practices and company systems
Maintain confidentiality of member and company information
Manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Medicare / Health Insurance Customer Service Representative Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
1+ year of experience in customer service, call center, or administrative support
Experience with Medicare, health insurance, or related healthcare plans is strongly preferred
Medicare / Health Insurance Customer Service Representative Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of customer service practices, including phone systems and documentation workflows
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable using computers, Windows, VPN, and office equipment
