Housing Litigation Solicitor

Are you a qualified Solicitor with litigation experience seeking your next challenge in a fast-paced and growing environment?

A well-established and highly regarded UK law firm is looking to recruit a Housing Litigation Solicitor with between 1–6 years PQE to join its expanding Social Housing Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a successful and supportive department advising Housing Associations and Local Authorities on a broad range of housing-related disputes.

The Role

You will support Partners and Senior Associates across a varied Litigation caseload, including:

• Advising on and managing litigation relating to tenancy breaches and anti-social behaviour
• Handling possession and injunction applications
• Defending housing disrepair claims brought by tenants
• Advising on tenancy clauses, succession, mutual exchange, and assignment matters
• Attending and representing clients at Court hearings
• Supporting business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships
• Supervising and assisting junior team members where appropriate

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• 1–6 years’ PQE with experience in social housing litigation
• Strong commercial awareness and sound professional judgment
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet challenging deadlines
• Excellent client care, communication, and organisational skills
• Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
• Effective diary and time management skills
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and methodical approach
