Job Description
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and professional standards.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on health-related matters and over-the-counter products.
- Ensure the pharmacy complies with all regulations and maintains high standards of safety and hygiene.
- Supervise and support pharmacy staff, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
- Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure the availability of essential products.
- Deliver clinical services and health checks as part of the pharmacy's healthcare offering.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support the wider retail business.
- Stay updated on advancements in pharmacy practice to enhance the services provided.
The Successful Applicant
A successful pharmacist should have:
- A recognised pharmacy degree and full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work well in a team and support colleagues effectively.
- A proactive approach to staying informed about advancements in pharmacy and healthcare.
