Job Description

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and professional standards.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on health-related matters and over-the-counter products.
• Ensure the pharmacy complies with all regulations and maintains high standards of safety and hygiene.
• Supervise and support pharmacy staff, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at all times.
• Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure the availability of essential products.
• Deliver clinical services and health checks as part of the pharmacy's healthcare offering.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to support the wider retail business.
• Stay updated on advancements in pharmacy practice to enhance the services provided.

The Successful Applicant

A successful pharmacist should have:

• A recognised pharmacy degree and full registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work well in a team and support colleagues effectively.
• A proactive approach to staying informed about advancements in pharmacy and healthcare.
