About the Role

Back to careers Anshu Thada Business Operations Analyst, PPL Corporation Working at the intersection of operations, data and digital transformation, Anshu Thada plays a pivotal — often behind-the-scenes — role in advancing PPL Corporation’s strategy to build the utilities of the future. Through automation, standardization and data-driven insights, she strengthens the operational foundation that allows teams to work smarter, safer and more efficiently.  As a Business Operations Analyst, Anshu’s mission is clear: remove unnecessary manual work so employees can focus their expertise where it matters most.  “I prioritize automation to streamline processes, reduce manual effort and eliminate repetitive work,” she explains. “When we automate the routine, I can focus on analyzing complex datasets, identifying trends and generating meaningful insights.”  Her approach directly supports PPL’s evolution into a modern, digitally enabled, customer-focused utility — rooted in strong data, clear processes and smarter decision-making.  Building the Systems That Keep Operations Running Smoothly  Much of Anshu’s work happens out of the spotlight, but its impact is unmistakable. By improving reporting, standardizing processes and enabling new digital tools, she empowers field and operations teams to maintain safety and reliability in a rapidly changing energy landscape.  She is currently leading and supporting several transformational efforts, including:  Implementing a new safety culture framework for field employees  Transitioning critical operational processes into stronger, standardized systems  Automating key workflows to reduce risk and eliminate manual labor  “These efforts help us work more efficiently while improving safety, reliability and operational excellence,” she says.  Turning Data Into Action  When Anshu joined PPL, she recognized a common challenge: the company had plenty of data, but not enough actionable insight.  Her response was to build entirely new visibility tools, including:  PPL’s first daily automated safety dashboard  Dashboards for training compliance, financial visibility and safety observations  A consolidated, enterprise-wide view of safety data across all three PPL operating companies  These tools give leaders clearer, faster insight into what is happening and where action is needed — enhancing both accountability and decision-making.  Anshu also works closely with safety, field operations, business operations and cross-functional partners to align reporting and processes. Her goal is to ensure systems are not only created, but understood, adopted and embedded into daily work.  “Modernization only works when teams align,” she says. “My role is to help make the data and tools consistent, clear and useful.”  Shaping a Culture of Transparency and Modernization  Anshu sees PPL’s culture shifting toward stronger transparency, consistent processes, greater reliance on data and digital tools and deeper cross-functional teamwork. That shift fuels her motivation.  “Energy is essential, and knowing my work supports safety and reliability gives me purpose,” she says. “And when my daughter tells me, ‘Mom, you are a community helper,’ it reminds me why this matters.”  Other profiles Darian Pompey Engineer, PPL Services Corporation Anthony Pearson Design Operations Manager, PPL Services Laura Mohn Manager of Production, Louisville Gas and Electric Company, LG&E and KU
