About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the LS26 area of Leeds from September 2026 . This full-time role offers a competitive daily rate of £160–£200 , depending on experience. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 3 class, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils as they make the important transition into Key Stage 2. The school is a friendly and inclusive primary setting with a strong focus on pupil wellbeing, academic achievement, and creating a positive learning environment. Staff work collaboratively to ensure every child feels supported, challenged, and encouraged to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Year 3 curriculum in line with national expectations. Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress to ensure positive academic outcomes. Create a calm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes a love of learning. Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils of varying abilities. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development and achievement. Pre-requisites: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 3 or lower KS2. Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. A proactive, organised, and flexible approach to teaching. Commitment to supporting pupils both academically and personally.
