The Company manages all of their Customer’s Print & Packaging requirements, specialities include: Premade Bags, PE VFFS film, PP flow wrap film, Lidding film, Conical Sleeves, Crate Liners, Pallet Hoods, Shrink Film, Stretch Film, Modified Atmosphere, Consultation. Ideal Candidate Profile: Experience of the supply of flexible films to the food industry Experience of the make-up of polymer based substrates – LDPE, BOPP, PET and laminates Knowledge of: lamination structures, barrier properties and specifications for food packaging. An understanding of inks, reprographics and origination process would be considered advantageous Educated to degree level in a technical or scientific discipline The role: As Technical Manager the successful Candidate will be responsible for: Dealing with suppliers on technical issues including supplier quality issues. Participating in research and new product development. Dealing with technical queries from production. Producing internal technical specifications. Customer facing consultative problem solving.
