Project Manager
Location: SW PDX
Pay: $80,000 to start with strong potential for increase after conversion
Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:00am to 3:30pm

This is a contract to hire opportunity designed to give both you and the company the chance to ensure long-term alignment.
What You’ll Do
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and a high level of service throughout the lifecycle of each project
Manage and oversee manufacturing projects from order intake through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer expectations are consistently met
Coordinate across operations, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery
Track project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively drive solutions to keep projects on schedule
Manage high-visibility and time-sensitive orders in a deadline-driven environment
Lead internal and external communication, including status updates, issue resolution, and expectation setting
Take full ownership of project performance, including delivery timelines, quality, and overall customer satisfaction
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions

What You Need to Have
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing or production-driven environments
- Proven success delivering on time-sensitive and critical customer orders
- Strong ability to manage high-visibility customer commitments with a focus on responsiveness and reliability
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments where prioritization is key
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align multiple departments toward a common goal
- An ownership mindset with full accountability for project outcomes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage expectations with both internal teams and external customers
The Musts
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Experience working with ERP or MRP systems
Background working with engineering or technical teams
Exposure to complex or custom manufacturing projects
