About the Role

Senior Civil Engineer - Water Multiple Locations | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home) Up to £75,000 + benefits (DOE) Full-time 37.5 hours | Part-time also consideredWe're looking for a Senior Level / Principle Civil Engineers with strong water sector experience to join a leading design consultancy contractor. You'll work on some of the UK's most significant water and environmental infrastructure projects, helping deliver sustainable solutions that support communities and respond to climate change. With continued growth across our Water division through AMP8 and beyond, this is an opportunity to play a key role in high-profile projects while developing your career within a well-established, technically strong consultancy environment.Civil Engineer RoleYou'll take technical and project leadership responsibility for civil engineering design across the full project lifecycle, including:Asset planning and strategyConcept, outline and detailed designClean water and wastewater treatmentWater and wastewater networksFlood risk management and urban drainageYou'll lead and mentor civil engineers, work closely with multi-disciplinary design leads, and take an active role in client engagement to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.What we're looking forSenior-level Civil Engineer experience within water, drainage, utilities or related infrastructureBackground in consultancy or client-side deliveryProven experience leading design packages and supporting junior engineersConfident in client-facing roles and collaborative project deliveryChartered or Incorporated status (ICE, CIWEM or similar) is desirable, but not essentialWhat's on offerSalary up to £75,000, dependent on experienceHybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 from home (more office-based if preferred)37.5-hour working week, with part-time options availablePrivate medical cover (Bupa)Enhanced benefits at Principal level, including bonus and flexible benefits allowanceClear progression opportunities within a growing Water divisionLocationsRoles are available across multiple UK offices, with particular demand in Brighton and Newcastle.
