Temporary Laundress in St Johns Wood

Our private client is seeking a Temporary Laundress to support their London household for the next 1-2 months while a family member and her husband are in residence. Due to the increased workload, additional laundry support is required.

Please note, this is not a housekeeping role, the position is focused purely on laundry and ironing.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1pm - 6pm and duration: 1-2 months!

Duties will include –

• Managing all household laundry
• Ironing and pressing to a high standard
• Handling delicate fabrics with care
• Folding, organising and storing garments properly
• Keeping the laundry area tidy and organised
• Any other duties relating strictly to laundry care

The ideal candidate will be experienced, efficient and confident handling high volumes of laundry within a private household. Excellent ironing skills and strong attention to detail are essential.

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £25 gross per hour 

Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay
