Many Capstone projects culminate in a <strong>public-facing website</strong>—whether that’s a startup landing page, nonprofit site, portfolio, campaign hub, or app frontend.</span></p><p><span>We’re hiring a Patent Support Specialist to help students in <strong>registering and protecting their businesses and innovations from application to officially patenting. </strong></span></p><h3><span><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></span></h3><p><span><strong id="docs-internal-guid-30bb17db-7fff-7c9a-bf15-333f80dce4a3">As a Capstone Patent Support Specialist, you’ll be supporting students in officially registering and protecting their businesses or projects. You’ll:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span>Evaluate student projects for patent, trademark, or copyright potential</span></p></li><li><p><span>Guide students through patent filings, trademark applications, and IP documentation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Advise on business structure and support company registration processes</span></p></li><li><p><span>Identify legal risks and ensure compliance in product launches</span></p></li><li><p><span>Collaborate with mentors and operations to align legal milestones with project timelines</span></p></li><li><p><span>Empower students to take real, strategic steps toward protecting their innovationsenough, build correctly, and ship something real.</span></p></li></ul><h3><span><strong>Required Skills & Experience</strong></span></h3><ul><li><p><span>LLB graduate/related field, preferably have US/UK/EU/ANZ education background </span></p></li><li><p><span>Registered Patent Attorney/IP lawyer/related work experience</span></p></li><li><p><span>Familiarity with international filing systems (USPTO, WIPO, EUIPO, etc.)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Comfortable working with ambitious high school students</span></p></li></ul>
