Job Description

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our successful Structures division. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our Strategic Networks structures portfolio, aiding in the management with pre planned maintenance schemes, reactive and ad hoc work.Youll play a key role in managing commercial activities on both major infrastructure and minor works projects, overseeing the change control process and identifying contractual and commercial risks and opportunities. This is a permanent, full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The duties of the Senior Quantity Surveyor role will include:

- Performing risk, value management and cost control activities to benefit the contract

- Leading and driving the procurement strategy including cost value analysis and procurement of sub-contractors

- Maintaining awareness of different contracts in current use, ensuring all current legislations and document control is adhered to

- Monitoring and reporting forecast against cost and value and the management of cashflow

- Overseeing and managing the commercial team on your contracts and supporting their development

What skills and experience do you need?

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in the construction or highways industry, along with a degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification. A strong understanding of JCT, ICE, and NEC contracts is essential, and a valid CSCS card is required.
