Harrington Starr has partnered up with a Global Financial Payments company who is looking to hire a Head of Development and join a an Engineering Team in London where you will work and look after a team of 20 Engineers.
They are a Payments that provide systems for the Banking, Crypto and Digital Payments API’s.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead engineering teams building core Payments Platform
- Own architecture and delivery of systems covering data, workflows, and controls
- Drive platform scalability, resilience, and regulatory readiness
- Develop engineering leaders and embed strong delivery discipline
- Senior leadership experience and hands on Development in Claude-Code AI Engineers.
- Experience and hands on Development with JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS
- Expert experience with NESTJS Framework.
- Strong domain knowledge across Payments or Fintech
- Able to bridge technical execution with business and client requirements
- High-impact leadership role in a specialist financial domain
- Long-term platform build rather than short-term delivery
