A leading national law firm is looking to recruit a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its highly regarded Local Government team in Leicester. This is a standout opportunity to join a busy and supportive team working on a genuinely varied caseload, ranging from fast-track matters through to complex, high-value litigation.

The Role
You’ll work closely with experienced Partners and senior lawyers while also managing your own caseload. The work is broad and engaging, including:

• Defendant Personal Injury (EL/PL and Highways claims)
• Social care and group litigation matters (including sensitive historic abuse claims)
• Property damage and housing disrepair
• Inquests and inquiry-related work seen at a national level

• Drafting pleadings and legal documentation

About You

• Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify)
• Experience in defendant personal injury work preferred, though claimant backgrounds will be considered
• Strong interest in casualty and local government work
• Ambitious, adaptable and keen to develop
