Locum Property Legal Officer – Full-Time – Hybrid Working – 3+ Month Contract – Up to £30 per hour (Umbrella) – East Midlands

Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently recruiting for a Locum Property Legal Officer to join a Local Authority on an interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a Property Legal Officer to join a friendly and established legal team.

The Role:

Role: Locum Property Legal Officer

Working Arrangement: Full Time, Hybrid working (1-2 office days per week)

Rate: Up to £30 per hour umbrella

Role Responsibilities:

• Drafting and completing leases for commercial sites
• Handling surrenders, leases, licences, and tenancies
• Preparing and completing auction packs
• Assisting with a range of property-related transactions
• Supporting the wider team with legal research as required
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience working within Property Law, ideally within a Local Authority or public sector setting
• Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills and the ability to support a wider legal team
