Since the contact centre consists of around 30-40 agents, but only 3 or 4 of us speak French, you have this extra responsibility, as you know the language and specifics of the French system more than anyone else, to deliver for the client, to take care of the employees and most importantly to help them.
Also, I feel I can really be part of a change and make things better. I can develop solutions or ideas for the employees, the benefit portal, but also being helpful to my coworkers. As we can still help French employees in English, it is important for me to be able to assist my coworkers if they have any questions about how the French system works, or about the specifics of a given client.
