This is an excellent opportunity for a steady, detail-oriented finance professional seeking a long-term role with flexibility and autonomy.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager will oversee all day-to-day financial operations for a small but growing business. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys end-to-end responsibility across bookkeeping, payroll oversight, and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
  
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and expense claims.
  
• Oversee outsourced payroll and ensure timely, accurate completion each month.
  
• Prepare and submit VAT and other statutory returns.
  
• Support month-end close and management accounts preparation.
  
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
  

Requirements:

• Qualified Accounting Technician, Part-Qualified/ Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  
• 0+ years’ experience in an SME or similar hands-on finance environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, VAT, and payroll processes.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities.
