About the role:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Atherton starting in September 2026. The successful candidate will have a passion for mathematics and a drive to inspire learners of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate teaching to support a range of learning needs and abilities
- Monitor, assess, and report on student attainment and progress
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards
- Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
- Support students’ academic and personal development
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge
- Enhanced DBS or the willingness to apply for one]
