Introduction

Formed in 2017 following the merger of Bedford College and Tresham College, The Bedford College Group is the largest provider of education in the South East Midlands, with over 18,000 students passing through our doors each year. Today, the Group is made up of a family of colleges across Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire, including Bedford College, Central Bedfordshire College and Tresham College, among others. This is an exciting time for the Group as we embark on a bold new chapter to strengthen our impact across the region and improve the opportunities of those in our communities.

We are seeking a Principal to provide curriculum leadership and management across Tresham College and to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum to maximise student outcomes and experience. You will represent the campus at local and Group levels, lead and manage the team and help deliver both TBCG and departmental strategies. The role calls for strong stakeholder engagement, curriculum innovation and a dual presence on campus and across the wider Group. You will bring recent leadership experience in the education, skills or training sector, along with experience of managing curriculum development and change, budgets and quality systems. Strong communication, people management, organisational and decision-making skills are also essential.
