About the Role

Facilities Manager Blackpool Our client is a well-established and growing organisation within the building services and engineering sector, delivering high-quality mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure solutions across the UK. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee operational performance, compliance, and maintenance across a portfolio of sites and projects. <h3>The Role</h3> As Facilities Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective management of facilities, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations aligned with business and client expectations. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Manage planned and reactive maintenance across sites</li> <li>Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and health & safety standards</li> <li>Oversee M&E systems including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical services</li> <li>Manage and coordinate contractors and service providers</li> <li>Control budgets, procurement, and cost efficiency</li> <li>Support operational and project teams with facilities expertise</li> <li>Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments</li> <li>Drive continuous improvement and performance standards</li> </ul> <h3>About You</h3> <ul> <li>Proven experience in a Facilities Manager or similar role</li> <li>Strong technical knowledge of building services (M&E)</li> <li>Experience within construction, engineering, or utilities sectors desirable</li> <li>Solid understanding of compliance and H&S legislation</li> <li>Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Relevant qualifications (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, FM or engineering-related) preferred</li> </ul> <h3>Package</h3> <ul> <li>Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 per annum (depending on experience and technical capability)</li> <li>Company car or car allowance</li> <li>Discretionary performance-related bonus</li> <li>25 days annual leave plus bank holidays</li> <li>Company pension scheme with employer contributions</li> <li>Ongoing training, certifications, and career development opportunities</li> <li>Laptop and mobile phone</li> <li>Employee assistance programme (EAP)</li> <li>Flexible working options where operationally feasible</li> <li>Business travel expenses covered</li> </ul> WR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
