Job Description
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while complying with legal and professional standards.
- Provide expert advice to customers on over-the-counter medicines and general healthcare queries.
- Ensure the safe and secure handling of pharmaceutical stock.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare colleagues to deliver high-quality service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of developments in pharmacy and healthcare regulations.
- Support the training and development of pharmacy team members.
- Promote health and wellbeing initiatives to the local community.
- Ensure the pharmacy operates efficiently and meets performance targets.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Pharmacist should have:
- A recognised pharmacy qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare practices.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- A commitment to continuing professional development.
