About the role:
justteachers is recruiting a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist secondary SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon from September 2026 until July 2027. You’ll be supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them achieve their academic, social and personal goals in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to students with a range of complex learning needs.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions.
- Support students with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies.
- Encourage independence and confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
- Work alongside teachers and wider professionals to implement EHCP targets.
- Record observations and contribute to pupil progress discussions.
Pre-requisites:
- Previous SEN or education experience is advantageous.
- Confidence supporting secondary-aged pupils.
- A compassionate, proactive and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
