Senior Interior Designer Role Summary

London | Full time | Permanent

We are working with a leading global multidisciplinary design practice looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their London workplace team. This is an opportunity to work across some of the most high-profile UK and international workplace, retail, healthcare, heritage, arts, sports and education projects, contributing to an integrated design culture where architecture, interiors and engineering are deeply connected.

The Studio

A globally recognised, award-winning practice with studios across the UK and internationally, known for its people-first, purpose-led approach to design. Their work is defined by collaboration, creativity and technical rigour—delivering complex, large-scale environments that are as considered as they are impactful.

They are designers, architects, engineers and urbanists working together to shape places that are inclusive, sustainable and built around how people actually live and work.

The Role

You will join a highly successful London interiors team, taking a leading role in the design and delivery of corporate and commercial workplace fit-out projects across all RIBA stages. From early briefing and stakeholder engagement through to concept design, technical development, delivery on site and post-occupancy review, you’ll be trusted to drive design quality and consistency throughout.

You’ll also be client-facing—confidently presenting ideas to blue-chip clients and stakeholders, helping to shape strategic design decisions on complex projects. Expect exposure to international work and collaboration across wider multidisciplinary teams.

About You

You are a strong conceptual designer with proven experience in workplace and commercial interiors within a leading design practice. You understand how to translate strategy into spatial design, and how to carry that through detail, specification and delivery.

You’ll bring:
  • Strong experience across all RIBA stages in workplace/fit-out projects
  • Confident use of Revit, SketchUp, InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel and rendering tools
  • A collaborative, open approach with strong communication skills
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and clients
Benefits & Ways of Working
  • Flexible pension allowance (5% of basic salary)
  • Profit share scheme
  • Life insurance & EAP support
  • Critical illness cover (optional)
  • Cycle to work, gym & retail discounts
  • Additional holiday purchase options
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in studio / 2 days remote (agreed with line manager)

This is a chance to step into a design-led, globally respected practice and play a key role in shaping the next generation of workplace environments.
