<h2>The Role</h2>
<p><strong>Working Pattern</strong></p>

<p>Monday, Thursday and Friday</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Shared Monday crossover with the associate vet</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>1:3 branch Saturdays</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>1:10 hospital Sundays</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>1 bank holiday per year</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>No on-call requirements</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<p>As Senior Vet (working collaboratively with the Senior RVN), responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>

<p>Delivering high-quality consultations and evidence-based treatment plans</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Performing routine surgical procedures within personal competence and in line with practice capabilities</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Referring complex cases appropriately to the supporting hospital</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Overseeing the consulting and surgical diary</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Supervising prescription management processes in accordance with company policy</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Supporting site-level inductions for new colleagues and locums</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Leading branch meetings and ensuring follow-through on actions</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Fostering a collaborative, respectful team culture</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>Support & Development</h2>

<h2>Salary & Benefits</h2>
<ul>

<p>Salary range: <strong>£53,120 – £70,550</strong> (part-time, including weekend rotation)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Equivalent full-time salary: <strong>£64,000 – £85,000 (40-hour week)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>6.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata, inclusive of bank holidays)</p>

<p>Up to £2,000 CPD allowance annually plus up to 5 days’ paid CPD leave (pro rata)</p>
