Live out Gardener Job in central London

This is wonderful opportunity for a Gardener, who will be working in the community gardens of Mansion flats. There are gardens, tennis and children play courts. This is a lovely community so the person will become a familiar and every day presence of their open space area. 

They are now looking for a new person to take this job on since the last long term Gardener retired. 

Some of the duties are:

• Full care & maintenance of flowers, shrubs, trees, lawns, hedges and so forth 

• Applying grass fertiliser to grassed areas

• Sweeping tennis and play courts of all debris

• Checking gravel paths for emerging weeds and spray with acetic acid (vinegar). Hoe if necessary and remove debris

• Planting of Spring bulbs to allow establishment

• Pruning, weeding & mowing  

• Works mostly consists of general grass cutting and seasonal hedge cutting in these gardens. Also clearing of Autumnal leaves and removal to compost areas. 

• Supporting ad hoc project work.

Start:  May - July 2026

Working week: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week. 

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 gross per annum, depending on experience and/or qualifications

Driving: not essential 

Salary: Market rate
