Auction Manager - Southampton
Basic Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE
OTE: £80,000
Location: Southampton
Requirement: Minimum 2 years' auction experience

We are looking for an experienced Auction Manager to join a busy and ambitious property business in Southampton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in auctions who is confident in winning business, building relationships, and driving instructions through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in growing the auction side of the business and must be commercially minded, proactive, and highly motivated.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and win new auction instructions
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, buyers, investors, and local contacts
Manage auction stock from instruction through to completion
Provide expert advice to clients on the auction process
Work closely with internal teams to maximise opportunities and business growth
Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the sales journey
Identify opportunities to increase revenue and performance within the auction department
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' auction experience is essential
Must be currently based in the Southampton area
Proven ability to win business and build lasting client relationships
Strong knowledge of the property market and auction process
Commercially aware and target-driven
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Full UK driving licence preferred
Package
Basic salary: £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
On-target earnings: £80,000
