About the Role
I’m looking for someone with experience in a service-based business with a field-based, skilled-trades workforce — think HVAC, field service technicians, facilities/maintenance, janitorial services, construction services, repair technicians, or similar environments. The sweet spot is someone who understands the unique dynamics of supporting a large frontline/field workforce in a service-driven organization. Responsibilities: Guide executive leadership on strategic business decisions using advanced financial insights Direct annual operating budgets, long-range strategic plans, and rolling forecasts Drive value creation initiatives focused on EBITDA expansion and cash optimization Evaluate acquisition candidates and major capital investments through scenario modeling Oversee corporate FP&A activities including executive reporting and business reviews Design KPI dashboards and predictive analytics tools to support decision-making Partner with sales and operations leaders to enhance operational execution Implement standardized financial scorecards to enforce accountability across all departments Enforce internal financial controls and risk management practices across the enterprise Prepare financial presentation materials for board members and executive stakeholders Build high-performing finance teams through continuous coaching and talent development Lead finance modernization projects including software optimization and workflow automation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience Experience with service-based organizations supporting a field-based or skilled-trade workforce REQUIRED Compensation and Benefits: Salary Range: $150,000–$200,000 This role is also eligible for various benefits, including: Medical Insurance Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.
