We’re on the lookout for a Supervisor to join our team!

You'll be there supporting the team to deliver the everyday moments and those stand‑out occasions. You’ll thrive from an environment that is busy, varied, fast paced but most importantly – fun!

As Supervisor you’ll:

Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

  • Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
  • Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
  • Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
  • Be a role model for customer service
  • Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
  • Accountablefor the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away

Your new company
Our client is a leading national law firm with a strong reputation within the insurance and disputes sector. Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a Supervisor to lead a team within its specialist recoveries practice.
This represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced litigation lawyer with supervisory experience to move into a new and highly regarded area of law. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, making this an ideal role for candidates seeking a retrain from broader insurance, defendant litigation, commercial litigation or dispute resolution backgrounds.


Your new role
You will be responsible for supervising and developing a team of lawyers while ensuring the delivery of excellent client service, strong financial performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will provide technical support and guidance to fee earners, helping to drive performance and maintain high standards across the team.

Key responsibilities :

  • Managing and supervising a team of lawyers handling litigated recovery matters.
  • Monitoring case progression and ensuring files are managed proactively through to conclusion.
  • Supporting lawyers with technical issues, strategy and case management.
  • Driving financial performance, productivity and utilisation across the team.
  • Managing performance, conduct and development matters where required.
  • Identifying and escalating client, compliance and risk issues.
  • Conducting coaching, mentoring and training to support career development.
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and induction of new team members.
  • Working closely with senior management to support operational objectives and client service delivery.


What you'll need to succeed
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors and Chartered Legal Executives with litigation experience gained within insurance, defendant litigation or wider dispute resolution environments.
You will ideally have:

  • Qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with rights to conduct litigation.
  • Previous supervisory, mentoring or team leadership experience.
  • Experience handling litigated matters and managing claims through the court process.
  • Exposure to insurer clients or insurance-related disputes.
  • Strong dispute resolution and case management skills.
  • Proven ability to support and develop junior lawyers.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of financial performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.


Candidates from recoveries, property damage, motor, professional indemnity, commercial litigation, credit hire, casualty, EL/PL or broader insurance litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
