About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead project lifecycles from inception to close, including requirements definition, resource scheduling, cost accounting, invoicing, coordination and project delivery with all parties involved.
Your Impact
The essential functions of this position include:
Oversee, train, assist and develop the Project staff
Manage professional services projects within a geographic area, as assigned
Manage all projects via a repeatable, organized process
Support customer-facing meetings
Manage customer requirements gathering, task prioritization and schedule development
Manage project-related accounting operations including cost accounting, invoicing and reconciliation
Ensure schedule deadlines are met, on time, and within budget
Assist sales personnel in identifying and closing new opportunities for ePlus
Qualifications
4+ years of technology project and project management experience
Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred
Advanced technical degree a plus
PMP certification
Proven history of delivering large and small projects with hands-on project management responsibility
Able to communicate with and earn confidence from senior-level executives
Detailed knowledge of the operations of one or more business sectors of strategic interest to ePlus
Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly the ability to describe the business impact of technical solutions to non-technical clients
Ability to work effectively in high-risk, high-pressure situations
Ability to motivate engineering resources to out-perform and exceed client expectations
Politically astute. Able to recognize and work with political issues within client organizations.
