Maths Teacher - Solihull

About the role:

Justteachers is working with a secondary school that is seeking a full time Maths Teacher from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable teacher to join a supportive mathematics department and deliver engaging Maths lessons in a well-established school environment.

You’ll teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, support students in building confidence with numeracy, problem-solving, and reasoning skills, and contribute positively to the wider life of the department. The school offers a welcoming atmosphere, strong behaviour expectations, and a committed staff team focused on high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with curriculum requirements.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports progress for learners of all abilities.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs where appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and follow school policies consistently.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the mathematics department to support planning, progress, and wider school life.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A passion for Maths and the ability to inspire students to develop confidence, resilience, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Two relevant references, ideally from educational settings.
