About the Role

<div> <p>We are looking for a talented <strong>DIMENSION ANALYSIS SPECIALIST</strong> to join our esteemed manufacturing partner in Grove City, OH. This role entails creating and refining CMM programs, conducting first article and production inspections, and collaborating with Quality and Manufacturing departments to ensure accurate part production. The successful applicant should possess proficiency in ZEISS Calypso programming, strong knowledge of GD&amp;T, and a proactive approach in a dynamic work environment.</p> </p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Develop, refine, and uphold top-notch CMM programs utilizing <strong>ZEISS Calypso</strong> software</li> <li>Program and assist in inspections using ZEISS Contura CMM machinery with various probe setups</li> <li>Validate CMM programs, confirm results, and make adjustments to ensure accuracy and repeatability</li> <li>Create inspection strategies and annotate engineering drawings for dimensional verification</li> <li>Decipher blueprints, CAD models, tolerances, and GD&amp;T specifications to construct effective inspection routines</li> <li>Evaluate CMM reports, measurement data, and inspection trends to pinpoint issues and propose solutions</li> <li>Provide assistance in <strong>First Article Inspections (FAI)</strong>, PPAP, capability studies, and validation processes to meet quality standards</li> <li>Troubleshoot dimensional discrepancies and collaborate with Machining, Engineering, and Quality teams on root cause analysis</li> <li>Verify fixture configurations, alignment methods, and probe techniques for intricate components</li> <li>Ensure measurement procedures are effective, consistent, and compliant with quality protocols</li> <li>Aid in reducing inspection time without compromising measurement accuracy</li> <li>Maintain orderly program revisions, documentation, and inspection records</li> <li>Participate in calibration efforts and ensure proper usage of measuring equipment and gauges</li> <li>Offer technical advice to inspectors, machinists, and production staff on measurement techniques and blueprint interpretation</li> <li>Suggest process enhancements to improve quality, efficiency, and manufacturability</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Minimum of 3 years experience in <strong>ZEISS Calypso programming</strong></li> <li>Experience in CMM equipment programming and operation within a manufacturing setting</li> <li>Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD data</li> <li>Thorough understanding of <strong>GD&amp;T</strong> and dimensional metrology principles</li> <li>Familiarity with advanced inspection concepts such as profile tolerances, true position, MMC/LMC, and complex geometries</li> <li>Ability to analyze inspection data and resolve dimensional or process-related challenges</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments</li> <li>Proven capability to manage tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Knowledge of machining processes, particularly <strong>4-axis and 5-axis milling</strong>, is a plus</li> <li>Experience in supporting FAI, PPAP, SPC, or capability studies is advantageous</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a strong dedication to accuracy and continuous improvement</li> </ul> </div>
