Employment Law Locum

A well-established and highly regarded law firm in Devon is seeking an experienced Employment Law Locum to support its busy Employment department on an interim basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a supportive team handling a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for both employers and employees.

Location: Devon
Job Type: Locum Contract
Duration: 3–6 Months (potential extension)
Working Pattern: Full-time or Part-time considered
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working Available
Rate: Competitive Hourly Rate DOE

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload including:

• Unfair dismissal and discrimination claims
• Disciplinary and grievance matters
• Settlement agreements
• Redundancy and restructuring advice
• Employment contracts and workplace policies
• TUPE and general HR advisory work
• Employment Tribunal support and representation

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with Employment Law experience
• Minimum 3 years’ PQE preferred, although all experienced candidates will be considered
• Ability to manage an employment caseload with minimal supervision
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious matters advantageous
