PRODUCTION SHIFT LEAD

Excellent opportunity to join a multibillion-pound heavy engineering specialist in a fully autonomous role overseeing production on one of their flagship sites.    Due to an upcoming promotion, we are currently seeking an experienced production professional to play a key role in the continued running and growth of the site. You will work closely with the current Operations Manager to familiarise yourself with the industry / position with a view to progressing into his role. An ideal applicant for this position would be someone with good production management experience, a background in the heavy engineering sector, and an ambition to progress their career. The company themselves are a world-renowned heavy engineering specialist and are recognised as the best in practice in one of the UK’s most sustainable industries. Due to an internal promotion, they are currently looking for a Production Shift Leader to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role you will take responsibility for running one of the largest bits of equipment on site and be responsible for overseeing the production & engineering team.
