Job Description:

St. Maximilian Kolbe School, a Christ-centered Catholic community called to model Jesus’ Law
of Love, is seeking a passionate and creative part-time Music teacher for the 2026-2027 school
year.

Responsibilities:

• 3 full days/week.
• Teach general music classes for all students, PreK3-Grade 8.
• Prepare and coordinate music for school liturgies, prayer services, and special events.
• Plan and direct the school Christmas program.
• Coordinate and direct the annual spring music production.
• Direct a student choir for students in grades 3-8.
• Incorporate Catholic values and traditions into music instruction and performances.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music or related field.
• Pennsylvania Instructional Certification in Music (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience working with children in a school or parish setting.
• Ability to lead vocal music instruction.
• Practicing knowledge and appreciation of Catholic liturgy and music preferred.
