Job description
Our client, a well-established fashion company who is looking for a talented Print Designer to join their close-knit London design team.
This is a multi-product role spanning womenswear, nightwear, menswear, and kids/baby categories, ideal for a designer who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. Every day brings something different, with plenty of opportunity to contribute creatively across a broad product mix.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
- Developing print, embroidery, and cut-work designs in response to creative briefs
- Supporting the Design Manager across product development for multiple apparel categories (womenswear, nightwear, menswear, kids/baby)
- Translating designs into graphic layouts on garment CADs with end-use always in mind
- Keeping an eye on emerging global trends and adapting them for the company's manufacturing base
- Providing general design support to help projects run smoothly
Person Specification:
- Solid background in apparel design, gained either supplier-side or with a retailer
- Confident user of Photoshop and Illustrator, including garment CAD creation
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects, with strong communication and a team-first attitude
- True enthusiasm for fashion and design
- Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools is a plus
