Accounting Manager

Overview:
A growing metals recycling company is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee the daily accounting functions of the business. This individual will be responsible for financial reporting, month-end close, accounts payable and receivable oversight, budgeting support, and managing accounting processes across the organization.

This is a hands-on role that works closely with company leadership and operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong financial controls.

Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Maintain the general ledger and account reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Support audits, tax filings, and banking relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in the metals recycling industry.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Shared Logic preferred).
