About the Role

Infrastructure/IT Architect | Healthcare IT Leadership Opportunity

We’re looking for a seasoned Infrastructure/IT Architect who knows what it takes to keep complex hospital systems running smoothly — and more importantly, evolving smartly. If you’ve been the go-to person for high-stakes backend infrastructure, enjoy solving messy, mission-critical problems, and know the ins and outs of Microsoft’s cloud and on-prem stack, this might be your next move.

What employees are saying:
I felt valued and supported by my managers throughout the entire duration of my tenure.
Hands down one of the most rewarding career experiences I have ever had!
Excellent place to work, atmosphere is great, people are friendly, excellent benefits!

Title Infrastructure/IT Architect
Location: Stamford, CT Hybrid
Salary: $150,000 – $190,000

The role in a nutshell:
You’ll be a key player behind the curtain — designing, supporting, and evolving the IT backbone that helps clinical teams deliver care. This means streamlining operations, leading technical planning for projects, managing hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem), and owning high-level troubleshooting (think level 3 support). The systems you touch — like Active Directory, Azure, O365, DNS, user lifecycle management — are critical to day-to-day hospital operations. This role has reach, impact, and a direct line to decision-makers.
This role might be a great fit if you:
Have done this at a hospital before (or something close to it).
Are deeply familiar with Microsoft technologies and how they’re actually used in enterprise IT — not just the textbook.
Understand infrastructure isn’t just about uptime, but also about scalability, security, and smart automation.
Like to think a few steps ahead — helping organizations not just fix, but evolve their tech.

A few core responsibilities:
Help plan the hospital’s future IT footprint — both cloud and on-prem.
Lead and resolve complex system issues across Active Directory, Azure AD, Exchange Online, file and DNS services.
Partner with IT security teams to manage user identity, access, and lifecycle.
Create tools, scripts, policies, or automation that make life easier for the whole IT org.
Evaluate new tech and help make the case (or not) for its adoption.
Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to align goals and resolve infrastructure issues.

Experience we’re looking for:
5+ years in IT infrastructure/architecture roles — healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Deep familiarity with Azure, Office 365, AD, DNS, SMTP, Windows Server, and Microsoft Identity.
You’ve scripted your way out of more than a few tight spots (PowerShell, Python = great to have).
Bachelor’s in IT, engineering, electronics, or equivalent hands-on experience. Military technical experience also welcomed.
What makes this role different:
This isn’t a cog-in-the-machine role. You’ll have real input, ownership, and influence. You’ll work across departments and with affiliate sites — all while building something that matters in a clinical, high-impact environment.
