About the Role
Sirius Staffing is seeking a Construction Manager for a contract position in St. Louis, MO.
Pay: $129.63
Summary: You will join the project mid-execution and play a critical role in driving day-to-day construction activities, coordinating with engineering, general contractors, and site operations, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
Responsibilities
Drive day-to-day construction activities for assigned capital projects.
Execute and oversee means and methods for all construction work on site.
Serve as a key onsite liaison between engineering, general contractors, facilities, maintenance, safety, and site operations.
Support and actively promote site safety, including enforcement of safety standards and Build Clean protocols.
Develop, review, and coordinate critical lift plans for equipment installations.
Provide input and direction to construction schedules.
Participate in the review and evaluation of scope changes, change orders, and contractor claims.
Review construction bids and provide technical and execution input to support vendor selection.
Coordinate with site departments to plan and execute site-wide outages required for construction.
Advise project leadership on construction activities that may impact facilities, utilities, or ongoing operations.
Support and provide training on site safety requirements.
Ensure construction activities align with site project delivery models, quality standards, and operational needs.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of construction management experience.
Strong background managing capital construction projects.
Proven ability to step into projects mid-execution and quickly assume ownership.
Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong commitment to safety leadership and compliance.
Experience working closely with engineering teams, general contractors, and site operations.
Ability to support extended hours, weekends, and temporary 24/7 operations as project demands require.
Ability to work onsite in St. Louis for the duration of the assignment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience executing brownfield construction in an operating life-science, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with commissioning activities in GMP or regulated facilities.
Experience coordinating construction activities around live operations.
