Religious Studies Teacher – Secondary School Redbridge, East London Start Date: ASAP Full-time / Long-term
We are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Redbridge to appoint a dedicated and knowledgeable Religious Studies Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to delivering high-quality, thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to engage critically with a range of beliefs and perspectives.
Religious Studies plays an important role within the wider curriculum, supporting students to think critically, engage in meaningful discussion, and build empathy and cultural awareness. The successful candidate will join a collaborative Humanities department committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, while creating a classroom culture where all students feel confident to contribute.

What the role looks like: Teaching Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
Encouraging thoughtful discussion, debate, and critical thinking
Creating an inclusive classroom where all beliefs and backgrounds are valued
Working alongside a supportive Humanities department that shares ideas and resources
What you’ll need: UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
A valid DBS on the Update Service
Recent, checkable references

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
