About the Role
<p>Manufacture a quality product from supplied drawings and manufacturing orders using the proper materials free from defect. Use a variety of woodworking practices and tools including - saws, air nailers, and sanding equipment in a safe and efficient manner.</p><p></p><p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p><p></p><p>Woodworking</p><p>· Set-up and operate wood sawing machines</p><p>· Operate drill presses, routers, sanders, planers and wood-nailing machines</p><p>· Work from drawings to determine size and shape of items manufactured</p><p></p><p>Quality</p><p>· Ability to choose best material and lengths for a given task</p><p>· Be an important part in the department quality control program</p><p>· Show consistent initiative in creating a quality product</p><p></p><p>Safety</p><p>· Follow safety rules and procedures</p><p>· Report unsafe acts, all accidents and near misses</p><p>· Operate equipment correctly and only if trained and authorized to do so</p><p>· Follow good housekeeping practices</p><p></p><p>Other Essential Job Functions</p><p>· Provide regular, consistent and timely attendance</p><p>· Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. frequently and 70-100 lbs. occasionally</p><p>· Work in an environment that has the potential for wood dust particles to be floating in the air</p><p>· Some overtime may be required</p><p></p><p></p><p>QUALIFICATIONS</p><p>High School Education or GED</p><p>1 year in a woodworking or manufacturing environment preferred</p><p>Ability to lift 75 – 100 lbs. occasionally</p><p></p><p></p><p>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE</p><p>Quality conscience</p><p>Excellent organizational and time management skills</p><p>Basic math and writing aptitude</p><p>Knowledge of a variety of woodworking equipment</p><p>Blueprint/drawing comprehension</p><p>Team player with a positive attitude</p><p></p><p>At Sauna360, a Watkins Wellness company, we believe that everyone should ‘Feel good.
