Goal: Implementation of the Ivanti Platform and Redefinition of ITIL Processes in a GxP-Regulated
Context and job challenges
As part of the modernization of their ITSM processes, the client is deploying a new platform based on “Ivanti for ITSM” within a GxP-regulated environment. This strategic project aims to:
- implement the Ivanti solution in a controlled and compliant framework, meeting requirements for traceability, data integrity, and validation as required in GxP environments
- redesign and industrialise ITIL processes: incident, problem, service request, and change management
- implement robust IT asset management and lay the groundwork for the progressive deployment of a reliable CMDB
The ITSM Project Manager will play a key role in coordinating, leading, and integrating this solution into client's operational processes, ensuring compliance with GxP regulations and applicable quality standards.
Main objectives
- lead the implementation of the Ivanti ITSM solution in full compliance with GxP standards and requirements
- redesign ITSM processes according to ITIL v4 best practices, incorporating traceability, documentation, auditability, and validation obligations
- deploy the priority modules: incidents, requests, changes, problems, followed by asset management
- prepare the foundation for the progressive implementation of a CMDB
- support change management and ensure the system’s continuous compliance throughout the GxP application lifecycle
Key responsibilities
Project management
- define and manage the Ivanti project timeline, including all GxP requirements (qualification, traceability, documentation)
- coordinate activities across internal teams, the Ivanti integrator, business stakeholders, and the quality team
- manage project and regulatory risks (e.g., GxP impact analysis, CAPAs where needed)
Process design and re-engineering
- redesign ITSM processes ensuring compliance with both GxP and ITIL standards
- contribute to the drafting of GxP validation documentation: URS, FS, DS, test
- protocols, qualification strategy, etc.
Implementation and configuration
- oversee the configuration of the Ivanti platform, taking into account security, access control, and logging requirements
- organize testing and validation phases in accordance with IT qualification methodologies (IQ, OQ, PQ)
Change management
- support end-users within a quality-driven framework (training, procedures, validation of user materials)
- implement change management procedures compliant with GxP traceability requirements
Operations and continuous improvement
- structure governance around ITSM within a quality-compliant and auditable framework
- ensure ongoing compliance of the Ivanti tool through periodic reviews, internal audits, and continuous improvement plans
Technical skills
- at least 5 years of proven experience managing ITSM projects in critical or regulated environments
- strong command of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks – certification preferred
- in-depth knowledge of the Ivanti ITSM platform
- experience working in GxP or equivalent regulatory environments
- understanding of IT asset management, CMDB implementation, and computer system validation lifecycle
Soft skills
- strong sense of responsibility and documentation rigour
- ability to communicate effectively with business, IT, quality, and compliance stakeholders
- solid project management culture, analytical mindset, and results-oriented approach
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in computer science, software engineering, information systems or equivalent
- ITIL Foundation certification required
- Certification or training in computer system validation or GxP compliance is a plus (CSV, GAMP5, etc.)
