About the Role
Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Walsall's Children's TM - CIC Team is seeking a qualified social worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development while working collaboratively with families and other professionals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
Developing and implementing effective care plans tailored to individual children.
Working closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to facilitate support and interventions.
Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure progress and compliance with care plans.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
Participating in team meetings and case reviews to share insights and best practices.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
Registration with Social Work England.
Experience working with children and families, particularly in a looked-after children context.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
