Advance Services Inc. is currently looking for experienced machinists for our Fort Morgan, CO team. Advance your career today for a company specializing cutting edge technology! Must be able to work independently, communicate issues early, prepare and maintain machines efficiently.
Required Skills:
- Strong blueprint reading
- Understanding of tooling, feeds, and speeds
- Ability to set tools and fixtures correctly
- Basic G-code understanding
Responsibilities:
- Perform machine setups including fixtures, tooling, and offsets
- Adjust offsets to maintain part tolerances
- Verify first article parts meet print requirements
- Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues
- Maintain efficient machine operation and cycle flow
- Perform basic preventative maintenance (PM) as assigned
- Assist in diagnosing machine issues and minor repairs
- Identify potential problems early and escalate immediately
