TMD Staffing – Cedar Park, TX

Pay: $27-$31 hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Position Summary

TMD Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for a manufacturing client in Cedar Park. This role requires the ability to independently set up and operate CNC lathes while maintaining high quality and production standards in a high-mix, low-volume environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of CNC Lathe Machinist experience
• Strong blueprint reading and precision measurement skills
• Ability to perform machine setups, offsets, and basic program edits
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Mazak experience preferred
• ROMI experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes
• Perform first article and in-process inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
• Verify part quality and maintain production standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Lift up to 40 lbs.
• Work safely in a manufacturing environment
