The school supports pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), providing a nurturing environment with small class sizes, excellent resources and a strong focus on helping every child achieve their potential. The Role As a Primary Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, SEMH, communication needs and moderate learning difficulties. Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and pastoral staff, you'll create a safe, structured and inclusive classroom where every pupil can thrive. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet individual learning needs. Create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment. Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing. Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of SEND. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents and the wider school team. Monitor pupil progress and contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
